🦎 Fiat Punto Dashboard Lights Not Working

Norfolk UK. May 2, 2012. #2. There are only about 6 red lights on the dash. 1 is a steering wheel for the electric power steering, 2 Is a circle with an exclamation mark in the middle which is for the brakes. 3 is in the shape of a door to indicate a door is not shut properly. 4 Is a rectangle with a + and - symbol which is for the battery. Im not sure about the electrical setup in the GP but if there's a relay for the fog lights and it's got a bad connection the light would show on the dash but the bulbs wouldn't light up. Andy Monty Moderator Just as a follow up and warning to anyone else this happens to - left my car overnight with dash lights on and totally drained the battery. So if it happens get is sorted out asap and I don't advise leaving it alone for more than 4-5 hours! Got a new battery and all sorted now with lights fixed, needed one anyway, old one was over 6 years old. Got a few issues 1. The Trip computer button doesn't work nor does the light adjuster buttons although the time button adjuster does 2. The rear speakers and sub do not work from the original blaupunkt tape radioalthough there is power at the sub. I'm thinking radio wise get a new aftermarket blue tooth one anyway but until then 68 posts · Joined 2012. #1 · Jul 6, 2013. I searched but could not find anyone discussing instrument panel lighting issues. I have a 2013 manual Pop with about 6500 miles on it and the backlighting for the fan speed and temperature control no longer are working. I immediately noticed it from one evening to another when I put on the lights. Trying to remove the front of the heater controls isn't advisable - the thin plastic clips break off easily. The bulbs are the small capless type - 286 12V 1.2W. There is also a yellow warning triangle on my dashboard display. My manual doesn't list the panel bulbs amongst those that would trigger a warning. OK - presumably this is solved by now but anyway: - All Puntos (Mk1, Mk2, presumably Mk2.5 and Mk3) have the dashboard centre (heater controls) illuminated. As for the make, I think that's likely to be FIAT - Mk1 Punto has two 1.2W wedge-based bulbs, Mk2 (and presumably Mk2.5) has four bulbs. These bulbs do not last forever and all tend to Yesterday, my dashboard err - froze on the Fiat Linea. The time is stuck at 3.11 and none of the gauges work. The Blue and Me works but I don't see any display whatsoever. When car is switched on neither the Airbag nor the ABS signs come on either. Same goes for all lights. For all practical purposes, the Dashboard is dead. How to use coming home feature in Fiat Grande #Punto (Fiat Punto 3rd gen) to set your low-beam to be on for another 30, 60 or 90 seconds after you exit and c I own a Fiat Punto Evo and the dashboard warning lights are on. It says 'Start Stop/Airbags Not Available' when starting the ignition. My local garage says it cannot identify the fault as its diagnostics machine is not compatible with the car. Do I need to take to a main Fiat garage (which will be expensive) to identify the fault? At the very the switch is on the catch itself on the boot lid When it next doesn't come on - tap it a few times if it illuminates, it the switch - and a donor Boot lock (transfer your lock into it) and you'll be sorted Mine used to take 20seconds to come on - easily a sticking switch So it might only need a clean up Ziggy Norfolk UK. The headlights and the daytime running lights are probably the same issue, the daytime lights switch off with the headlights on so if you can’t switch the headlights off then the daytime running lights won’t come on. Apr 29, 2014. #1. Hi I was wondering if anyone has any idea what wrong with my brand new punto. Since I got the car the oil and battery warning lights have been dimly lit whenever the engine is running and for a short time once the car is turned off. 2 weeks after getting the car I went on holiday for a week and when I returned the car wouldn't Can be A - Weak Battery B - A Cable has come undone C - A Cable has Snapped somewhere D - Speedo Sensor Has died (does speed still work?)
